ARABIAN GULF (March 18, 2015) The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), right, the Military Sealift Command combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7), and the guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 52)  transit the Arabian Gulf after conducting a replenishment-at-sea. Carl Vinson is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
